Join us on Saturday, January 20 at 6:30 p.m. for the ASHRAE Welcome Party at the Old Post Office in downtown Chicago being hosted alongside Heavy hor devours and two drink tickets are provided with ticket purchase.
Socialize with fellow Illinois ASHRAE members January 20th, immediately following the Welcome Party. An After Party will be held a short walk away at Canal Street Market – food and drinks to be provided. Let’s keep the good times going!
Swing by the downown Irish restaurant Emerald Loop on Sunday, January 21 for an early St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Sponsored by the DEI Sub-Committee, this fun networking event is focused on sustainability and is open to all ASHRAE members, guests and sponsors from 8pm.
On Tuesday, January 23 enjoy a special evening of fun with ASHRAE friends and entertainment. The evening starts with a cocktail reception at 6:15 p.m. Enjoy a plated dinner followed by a jazz and casino night! Formal attire is encouraged!

Originally completed in 1921, this building has recently gone under an $800 million renovation that now boasts over 2.5 million square feet of multi-use office and event space, which includes a 3.5-acre urban rooftop oasis.
The first female-owned brewery and cider house in Illinois, Eris Brewery and Cider House pursued maximum energy efficiency while renovating the historic 108-year-old Myrtle Masonic Temple by constructing the first of its kind: a brewery integrated, geothermal-based heat recovery system.
The CenTrio district cooling system in Chicago provides chilled water service to over 110 buildings in the Loop and adjacent neighborhoods. Five cooling plants serve the system through a common distribution network comprised of 8.5 trench miles of buried pipe.
Built in 2007 and earning the first Silver LEED certification for a residential building in the state of Illinois, this building is 672 feet tall and sixty-five stories. It was one of the first properties in the Midwest to disconnect from district cooling and build its own premium chiller plant.
